I recently had the absolute joy of photographing the New Years Eve wedding of Dustin and Katie! Dustin and Katie are such an adorable, fun couple with so much energy! My assistant, Shelby, and I had an amazing night with the couple and their friends and family.
Our day started with Katie and her bridesmaids at REnue Salon in Spring Lake, where the day got off to a lovely start when an out of town bridesmaid realized she ordered the wrong colored dress online and a mad dash was made to get the right dress in hand! I'm not sure she'll ever live that one down!
We headed to downtown Grand Haven where Dustin and Katie had their first look... oh, it was so sweet! After they saw each other, we headed out for some photos with the wedding party at headed to the church for the ceremony.
The ceremony was beautiful and I'm sure not a single guest there didn't have a smile on their face!
We ended up at the Shoreline Inn for the AMAZING reception, led by the fantastic DJ, Greg Martin, from Entertainment on the Move. Just about everyone stayed on the dance floor all night, even after the bride and groom made their departure, and that's not actually that common at most weddings.
It was a fabulous way to ring in the new year and Shelby and I were so happy to be able celebrate with Dustin and Katie!
